Kidderminster is a town of 55,182 inhabitants, in the county of Worcestershire. Kiderminster has historically been associated with the manufacture of carpet, and today it is still a large industry in the town. The town has several tourist attractions, notably the Severn Valley Railway, which attracts thousands of visitors for the ride to Bridgnorth. The nearby Client Hills are also popular for walking. The town is linked by main line rail services to Birmingham Snow Hill, Worcester, Shirley, Dorridge and Great Malvern. The town is also linked to the M5 and M42 via the A448.
