Scarinish is a small town on the island of Tiree, in the county of Argyll and Bute. The island only has a popualtion of 750, most of whom are based around Scarinish due to its proximity to the ferry port. Scarinish has a bank (the only one on the island, operated by Royal Bank of Scotland), a Co-op store, Post Office, Hotel and a small information centre. The port on Scarinish sees regular ferry services to Oban, operated by Caledonian MacBrayne ferries. Tiree also has an airport with a daily flight to Glasgow, oeprated by British Airways franchise partner Loganair. Villages on Tiree are Baugh, Heanish, Brock, Vaul, Salum, Ruaig, Miodas, Caolas, Crossanoll, Clachan Mor, The Green, Kilkenneth, Kenovay, Moss, Sandaig, Barrapoll, Balemartine, Mannal, Balephuil and Hynish.
