Birmingham is the second largest city in central England and a major industrial centre and transportation hub. Located in the west Midlands, it has three universities, two cathedrals and the National Exhibition Centre. By the time of the Industrial Revolution Birmingham had become the industrial and commercial centre of the Midlands. Local towns include Bedworth, Kenilworth, Kidderminster, Nuneaton, Redditch, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon, Tamworth and Warwick.
