Blackpool is a thriving resort on the north-west coast of England and is the busiest tourist resort in the whole of Europe. More than 17 million tourists flock to Blackpool every year, to see the tower and the resort's other famous attractions, including the promenade trams, the three piers, the Illuminations and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
