Bath is a city of south-west England south-east of Bristol. Famous for its Georgian architecture and its hot mineral springs, originally tapped by the Romans in the first century A.D. Throughout the generations Bath has been seen as a popular spa resort. Bath is the only place in the country where naturally hot mineral water exists. Bath is a spectacularly beautiful city which stands on the River Avon. Bath is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with the Cotswolds to the north, the Mendips to the south-west and the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean are just across the Severn Bridge.
