Dartford is a municipal borough of south-east England. Dartford is situated on the outskirts of London next to the River Thames. Some of Dartford's past is left including a gateway from a palace, a Georgian inn, and some timbered houses. Dartford also contains marshland, parks and fields and forms part of the Garden of England . To the south of the town lie a number of beautiful and ancient parishes, each of which has its own links with English history.
