Machynlleth is a town of approximately 2,000 people, located in the traditional county of Montgomeryshire, Powys, in western Wales. Machynlleth is situated in the Dyfi Valley. Machynlleth has a railway station with services to Birmingham, Pwllheli and Aberystwyth. The town is also situated at the intersection of the A489 and A487, which leads to Aberystwyth.
