Glasgow is a city of southwest Scotland on the Clyde River. Founded in the late sixth century, Glasgow is the largest city Scotland and its industrial centre; it has thriving retail, corporate hospitality, conferencing, finance, tourism, call centre, and light engineering sectors, as well as an excellent harbour and modern port facilities. Glasgow also has a cathedral which marks the burial spot of St Mungo, Glasgow's patron saint, three universities, over 70 parks and gardens and more than 20 museums and art galleries.
