Aviemore resides in the Scottish Highlands, and is a popular tourist area. Located in Badenoch and Strathspey, its county location is traditionally Morayshire, but for post it is Inverness-shire. Aviemore also has the UK's only free-grazing reindeer herd. The Cairngorms, Aviemore and the Scottish Highlands are at the heart of Scotland, and are one of the most stunning wild areas in Europe. Due it is tourism however, Aviemore also has a contemporary feel which makes it an attractive place to work and play.
