Birmingham is the second largest city in central England and a major industrial centre and transportation hub. Located in the west Midlands, it has three universities, two cathedrals and the National Exhibition Centre. Birmingham's top attractions include Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Millennium Point, Bull Ring, Selfridges Building, Cadbury World, Tolkien Trail, Birmingham Royal Ballet, the National Sea Life Centre. By supplying the Parliamentarians in the English Civil War with swords, pikes and armour, Birmingham emerged with a strong reputation as a metal working centre. By the time of the Industrial Revolution Birmingham had become the industrial and commercial centre of the Midlands. Local towns include Bedworth, Kenilworth, Kidderminster, Nuneaton, Redditch, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon, Tamworth and Warwick.
