Nowadays, King's Lynn is associated mainly with fishing, glas making, and small scale engineering works. The town retains a role as an import centre. Transport links are offered via the Fen Line to London Kings Cross, Cambridge and Ely. the town is linked to Peterborough via the A47, and Cambridge via the A10.
