Hinckley is a town in south-west Leicestershire, England. The town has a population of 43,246, including the nearby large villages of Earl Shilton, Barwell and Burbage. Like many towns, Hinckley expanded rapidly with thee advent of the canal and, later, the railway. The town is still served by rail on the Nuneaton-Leicester line, and has road links via the A5 and M69.
