Scarinish is a small town on the island of Tiree, in the county of Argyll and Bute. The island only has a popualtion of 750, most of whom are based around Scarinish due to its proximity to the ferry port. Scarinish has a bank (the only one on the island, operated by Royal Bank of Scotland), a Co-op store, Post Office, Hotel and a small information centre. The port on Scarinish sees regular ferry services to Oban, operated by Caledonian MacBrayne ferries. Tiree also has an airport with a daily flight to Glasgow, oeprated by British Airways franchise partner Loganair.
